Make your lips POP
As we have previously mentioned, luscious red lips were one of the main features of 50s makeup. Although lipsticks back then came in many shades, from the deeper maroon colors through to lighter orange and pink ones, red was women’s favorite.
You can also get the classic red lips of celebrities like Marylin Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, and Grace Kelly. Just draw over your natural lips with red lipliner, and apply red lipstick on top. To add a slight shine, people back then used vaseline.
