The Addams Family
Long before comic book adaptations were all the rage and a new Marvel movie came out every three months, Hollywood producers skimmed through the pages of daily newspapers and popular magazines for unique ideas to take to the small screen.
In the 1960s, they came across one-panel cartoons about a gothic family, and The Addams Family was born. The TV show was so successful back then that a trilogy of movies from the 1990s revived the characters for a new generation. Isn’t it amazing?
