Manchester tart

Finish your meal on a nostalgic note with this Manchester tart recipe. Here are the ingredients: 175g raspberry jam, 50g desiccated coconut, lightly toasted, and 12 maraschino cherries. 200g plain flour, 100g butter, 65g icing sugar, and 1 egg yolk for the pastry.

800ml milk, 2 tsp vanilla bean paste, 5 egg yolks, 100g caster sugar, and 50g custard powder for the custard. Step 1: Make the pastry. Step 2: Roll the pastry and then use it to line a 23cm tart tin. Step 3: Bake for 25 mins. Step 4: Make the custard.
