Cayenne savory biscuits

These biscuits are a great make-ahead nibble to serve with drinks before the main event! Just gather these ingredients: 150g plain flour, 1tsp mustard powder, a pinch of cayenne pepper, 1tsp dried rosemary, 150g butter, 70g parmesan, 70g gruyère, 1 egg yolk, and 3tbsp poppy seeds.

Mix the flour, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, rosemary, and black pepper together. Beat in the butter, and stir in the cheese and egg yolk. Shape the dough into a 30cm log, sprinkle the poppy seeds, and slice it into 1cm rounds. Place the rounds on the trays and bake for 12-15 mins until golden.
