Oh, the 1990s…it was a decade that graced our screens with impeccable talents, including child stars, that made our favorite shows unforgettable. From Leonardo DiCaprio to Madeline Zima, some of these child stars are still actors, while others have moved behind the camera or even out of the acting world. Here are five iconic child stars and what they are currently up to.

Raven Symoné

Raven’s acting career started in 1990 when she joined “The Cosby Show,” starring as Olivia Kendall, the Huxtables’ step-grandchild. Thereafter, she was cast for the ABC sitcom, “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.” You might also remember her in the 1994 Disney movie “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.”

Raven is still into acting; she starred in the Disney film franchise “The Cheetah Girls” in the early 2000s. She’s also famous for “That’s So Raven”, which was such a success that In 2017, Raven-Symoné returned to her signature role for the Disney Channel reboot, “Raven’s Home.”

Madeline Zima

Who could forget the smart, pretty kid of the Sheffields? Madeline became popular for her role as Max’s youngest child in the 1993 sitcom, “The Nanny.” During the ‘90s, she also acted in the romantic comedy, “‘Til There Was You.”

In the 2000s, she had roles in the Hilary Duff movie, “A Cinderella Story,” and the horror film, “The Collector.” Since then, she has also been a guest actress on several TV shows, including “Twin Peaks,” “You,” and “Perry Mason”, and films like “Bombshell.”

Leonardo DiCaprio

The true movie geeks know “Titanic” wasn’t Leonardo’s first acting role. His first major roles included guest-starring on “The New Lassie,” “Santa Barbara,” and “Roseanne.” The young actor had a main role on the NBC sitcom, “Parenthood” and joined the seventh season of “Growing Pains.”

After his 18th birthday, he played the famous loverboy role in “Titanic” and “Romeo+Juliet.” Recently, he has gotten an Oscar Best Actor Award for “Revenant.” He also got nominations for his role in movies like “Blood Diamond” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen

Ashley and Mary became famous for their role in the 90s sitcom “Full House.” They starred in different TV shows and films that were famous among 90’s kids, including “To Grandmother’s House We Go” in 1992. Is the duo still acting today?

Their last movie was “New York Minute” in 2004, and they soon after went into fashion design and launched their luxury fashion label, The Row. They were named Womenswear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2012 and 2015.

Fred Savage

Fred is most famous for starring as Kevin Arnold in “The Wonder Years.” Fred Savage guest-starred in other ‘90s TV shows, including “Seinfeld” and “Boy Meets World.” From 1997-1999, he starred in the NBC sitcom “Working.” You may also remember him from “The Wizard.”
