The 1960s Was An Iconic Decade, And These Power Couples Prove It

Paul McCartney & Linda Eastman

Like most people in the 1960s, Linda Eastman was infatuated with The Beatles. In 1967, everything changed for her when Paul talked to her at The Bag O’Nails club. Linda was on a work trip in the UK, where she was taking photographs of musicians for a book called Rock and Other Four-Letter Words.

According to Paul, “The night Linda and I met, I spotted her across a crowded club, and although I would normally have been nervous chatting her up, I realized I had to.” The two remained married until 1998. Unfortunately, Linda McCartney died after a battle with breast cancer on April 17, 1998.
