The creation of the Marshall-developed Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV)
Apparently, taking people to the Moon wasn’t enough for NASA, you know? We can see that because, during the first half of the 70s, the agency worked hard to create a vehicle that could easily carry astronauts and their equipment on our natural satellite’s surface.
The Marshall-developed Lunar Roving Vehicle, as this invention was called, was a lunar “car” with four wheels powered by electric motors that could easily take astronauts across the lunar surface. Needless to say, we owe LRVs all we know today about the Moon.
