See-through phones
See-through phones combine 20th-century technology with future aesthetics (as predicted by the 1990s). These phones were landlines, which most people born after 2000 have no idea what that means, and had a clear exterior that allowed users to see the inside wiring and mechanisms of the phone.
This gadget usually had some pops of color to it, either inside the phone itself or on the cord. The see-through phone’s cool design and fully functional qualities made it popular among teens and young adults back in those days.
