Tamagotchi
Tamagotchis, which were recently mentioned in one of the best-animated movies of 2022, Turning Red, were a handful to have. But just in case you have been living under a rock, or you are under 21, Tamagotchis were pocket-sized digital pets that were one of the most recognizable products of the 1990s.
They require you to feed them and care for them, much like a real pet. However, despite their dependence, people developed strong attachments to their Tamagotchi pets. Moreover, these “creatures” also taught children about responsibility, as the pet would die if the owner did not properly care for it.
